Borgo and surroundings
The small village of San Savino was born in 1006 on the initiative of the Attoni family of Todi who ordered the construction of a monastery of which no trace remains today except in the toponymy of the village.
The historic center is surrounded by an ancient castle and medieval walls adjacent to the church erected around 1750. The atmosphere you breathe is that enchanted of a place where time has stopped and the terraces of Borgo San Savino, which dominates the airy hill, you can enjoy the vision of wonderful sunsets that are reflected on the waters of Lake Trasimeno and in particular between the underlying Oasis "La Valle" and Isola Polvese.
